Exuberant concertos by Corelli and Platti,
celebrating their 300th and 250th anniversaries

A festive opening of New Trinity Baroque's 15th Anniversary Season, featuring gems by Italian masters Arcangelo Corelli (1653-1713) and Giovanni Benedetto Platti (c.1697-1763), in the year of their 300th and 250th anniversaries. NTB's very own soloists perform, led by its founder and artistic director, Predrag Gosta.

THE ENGLISH ORPHEUS
English Madrigals, Viol Consorts and Lute Songs

With MICHAEL FIELDS, lute and guest director (England)

New Trinity Baroque's vocal ensemble and English lutenist Michael Fields, joined by a consort of viols, explore the vast repertoire of English madrigals and lute songs, including works by John Dowland who celebrates his 450th birthday this year. An evening of intimate music making you will not want to miss.

LOVERS AND HEROES
Italian cantatas and opera arias by Handel and Vivaldi, featuring Marijana Mijanovic

George Frideric Handel and Antonio Vivaldi were privileged to be able to write music for some of the greatest singers of their time, including castrati such as Senesino, Nicolini and Caffarelli. New Trinity Baroque is proud to be able to bring to Atlanta one of the best opera singers of this repertoire today, whose vocal dramatism demonstrates why this music was all the rage in the 18th century.

10 years since the installation of "Rosales" organ and NTB's residence at St. Bart's

On the eve of Passion Sunday, New Trinity Baroque brings some of Johann Sebastian Bach's finest works to Atlanta – Cantatas Nos. 4, 51, 150 and 196 and works for organ. Featuring Atlanta soprano Wanda-Yang Temko, mezzo Carrie Cheron, Swedish tenor Leif Aruhn-Solén and baritone Paul Tipton, with St. Bart's new organist Shannon Gallier and NTB's amazing instrumentalists, directed by Predrag Gosta.
