Steven Soph,
tenor, currently resides in Boston. He attended the University of North Texas where he studied with Julie McCoy and David Sundquist while performing with Collegium Musicum, Canticum Novum, and the A Cappella Choir. In Dallas, he was a member of the Orpheus Chamber Singers, Texas Choral Artists, Helios Ensemble, Dallas Bach Society, Orchestra of New Spain, Paradigm Vocal Ensemble, and was a soloist and section leader in the Chancel Choir of the Episcopal Church of the Incarnation. Having just relocated to Boston, Steven sings in the Church of the Advent's professional choir. Steven Soph's previous involvement with New Trinity Baroque includes concert and recording of Purcell's "Dido & Aeneas", which was released in 2004 on Edition Lilac label, as well as Carissimi's two oratorios, "Jonas" and "Jephte."
