On Friday, OCTOBER 27, 2006, New Trinity Baroque organized its first even BENEFIT CONCERT. John Holloway, NTB's Music Director during the 2005/06 season and one of the world's greatest violinist, joined us in an evening of meditative music by Johann Sebastian Bach, featuring his Sonatas & Partitias for Violin Solo.
This special event was made in effort to make New Trinity Baroque financially stronger during the season 2006/07, so that we can continue presenting quality concerts throughout Atlanta area and beyond! Your participation helped us to raise money for our season concerts and operating expenses! This special event was followed by another one on May 31, 2008, which benefited New Trinity Baroque's 1st ever European Tour (July 15 to August 3, 2008), when New Trinity Baroque presented concerts in England, Finland, Sweden and Serbia.
This year, once again we will meet for a specail BENEFIT CONCERT, which will be organized on SATURDAY, JUNE 5 at St. Bartholomew's Episcopal Church. This year, the proceeds from the event will benefit New Trinity Baroque's appearance at Piccolo Spoleto Festival (May 29 to June 3, 2010).
